Introduction To The Author

Tomas was born in Hibbing, Minnesota and now resides in Las Vegas. He has been known as a "colorful character" all his life.

True story I: He got the nickname, "Tiger," as a high school hockey player. They still talk about the goal he scored against International Falls, a perennial powerhouse in in Minnesota hockey lore. He was also known as Ike's little brother Teeny, Vidi, Vini, and Vici. In Vegas, he's known as Tommy V.

Throughout his life, Tiger has doodled the Stickman character. All of this art went to family and close friends.

True story II: Towards the end of the twentieth century, at Angel Park Golf Course in Las Vegas, Tiger made a hole in one. The next day he started a drawing of a golfing character and called the drawing “A Perfect Day.”

Tiger was raised a Catholic and was interested in the study of angels. He always felt he had someone looking after him. The history of angels goes way back to forever.

The bible tells us that God created angels. Angels are recognized as messengers of God in all the major religions of the world and are referred to in countless historic records thousands of years before the birth of Christ.

The word, “angel” is derived from the Greek “angelus,” meaning messenger, thus the words “los Angeles” meaning City of Angels.

When we are touched by an angelic experience it should help us to live better lives, to be good to others, and to look at the good and positive wonders of our planet, earth. So remember, angels appear in your life to watch over you.

True story III: Recently, as Tiger’s wife lay gravely ill in a Las Vegas hospital surrounded by family, she called him. “Vinnie, don’t forget to have the art under the bed appraised.” He took the art to a local gallery, and for fun, took along his drawing, A Perfect Day. The gallery director told him he had talent and should pursue it. It was one of the few times in his life he felt humbled.

True story IV: Around this same time, Tiger was having a recurring dream. In his dream, he was in a hot tub in his Las Vegas home with a gorgeous showgirl when two burly Mafia-types showed up and threw a live radio into the tub. His life passed before his eyes. He was dead; electrocuted; his wife was going to kill him anyway because of the bimbo, and he was on his way to Hell because of his evil ways. Boom! A miracle happened. Up popped his Stickman, calling himself Hombre de Palo, and badabing, the two hit men dropped dead. They had heart attacks? Too much osso buco? In any event, this dream haunted Tiger for weeks; only the show girls changed, until finally, Halle Berry showed up in the dream. That was it! He knew Destiny called when his Hispanic wife, Margaret, told him “hombre de Palo” meant “stickman” in Spanish. That’s when Tiger went to work with the fervor of the compulsive personality he possesses. The reoccurring dream stopped and he began to churn out drawings of Palo. He realized that Palo was Tiger and Tiger wanted to share his Guardian Angel with the world.

Tiger’s belief is that he shares his Hombre de Palo with you for protection, good luck, harmony, peace, love, and prosperity. His use of color will please you. After a time, the character, Hombre de Palo takes on life-like characteristics and seems to be alive.
PALO IS EVERYWHERE!

True story V: Margaret made a miraculous recovery and is alive and well today, still putting up with all my escapades. God Bless Her.
